  What can I donate? We accept most vehicles and vessels including but not limited to cars, trucks, trailers, boats and RVs.

My car hasn't run in years. Can I still donate it? Yes, we are able to accept most vehicles running or not (exceptions include older vehicles whose value would not offset the cost of towing). To find out if we can accept your vehicle, please complete and submit the form on the inside.

What do I need to donate my vehicle? We would like the title to the vehicle, but if you do not have it, please call us anyway. It is possible that other arrangements may be made.

Can you pick up vehicles in all 50 states? Yes. We can pick up vehicles in the continental 48 states and in Alaska and Hawaii. However, because of increased costs, fewer vehicles are accepted in Hawaii and Alaska.

How will my car be picked up? Car Program Inc. will contact you to schedule to have your vehicle towed away by a professionally licensed, bonded and insured towing company.

How long will it take to pick up my car? Car Program Inc. will contact you within 4 business days to schedule to have your vehicle picked up. If you need your car picked up sooner, please let us know as we are often able to accommodate rush orders as well.

Is my donation tax deductible? Yes, vehicle and vessel donations made to bonafide charitable organizations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. The National Fibromyalgia Research Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Remember, individual tax situations vary so please check with a tax professional to determine what, if any, tax benefit you may receive from a tax deductible donation.

How does my tax deduction work? The IRS allows you, the taxpayer, to claim a tax deduction of (a) the value of your vehicle up to $500 or (b) if we sell the vehicle for more than $500 we will mail you a postcard with that value for your tax purposes. As the tax payer, you are responsible for getting an appraisal of your vehicle if the value is greater than $5,000. For additional information, the IRS provides a Donor's Guide to Car Donations (IRS Publication 4303) which sets forth the manner in which the IRS requires you to determine the value of your donated property.

OK, I'm ready. What should I do? Complete the form and send it to us. Within 4 business days you will receive a call from Car Program Inc. to determine if your vehicle is acceptable and to schedule pick up.
